Your role is to ensure compliance with strict guidelines and procedures, especially HSEQ requirements, by setting targets and monitoring their achievement in line with the global targets of the department. You are responsible for resource planning and controlling (employees and budget), defining and implementing best practice tools and processes for application scouting and market development. Your other major duties include establishing structured and systematic analysis of activities relatingto international customer-oriented application solutions, the internal expert network and the external customer network. You are expected to identify and select key solution areas in order to define the scope of Renewable Energy and Mobility activities. This position requires knowledge transfer and effective communication within Bayer (communication bridge), as in the evaluation of new ideas in collaboration with cross-functional Bayer expert teams. You will quickly be given responsibility within such consulting projects and will soon be working independently on specific assignments. You will have direct contact to clients and other consultants – in Germany and/or abroad, depending on the project – and will receive good insight into various areas of the Bayer Group. You will acquire and develop the necessary consulting tools and methodology through systematic personnel development. Your work will contribute to shaping the continual development of a growing inhouse consulting organization. Your project assignments will be an excellent starting point for a subsequent management career in a line function within the Bayer Group.

You will join Bayer via our 18 months trainee program in preparation for your later employment as a Controller (m/f) in one of our Subgroups, Service Companies or in the Holding. The program comprises rotational assignments in corporate and divisioncontrolling, finance, accounting, auditing and in foreign affiliated companies. A temporary employment abroad of up to three months duration is inherent part of the program. By establishing your network in the global Bayer organization and by gaining invaluable practical experiences in an international environment, you will prepare for supporting business decisions based on thorough operational and strategic analyses.
